Roy Keane:

Roy Maurice Keane, an Irish football commentator, former coach, and former player, was born on August 10, 1971. He was ranked among the top midfielders of his time and included in Pelé's FIFA 100 list of the top 100 active players in the world in 2004. He was voted No. 11 on The Times' list of the 50 "hardest" football players in history in 2007, known for his hard and outspoken attitude. In 2021, Keane became a member of the Premier League Hall of Fame.

He finished his career with four FA Cups, seven Premier League championships, and one Champions League. With 19 major titles in his club career 17 of them while playing for English club Manchester United he is one of the most accomplished Irish footballers of all time.

Because of his aggression and leadership prowess, Roy Keane is revered in equal measure. He began his career in Ireland with Cobh Ramblers. Brian Clough later acquired his services, and he joined Nottingham Forest.

Keane wasn't a flawless player, he was highly combative, and aggressive, and his teammates acknowledged that he didn't get along with many people when playing for Manchester United.

Following an apparent fight during (3 September 2023)  Sunday's 3-1 victory for Arsenal over Manchester United, a 42-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of assault. It comes after social media users began sharing videos of Sky Sports commentators Roy Keane and Micah Richards fighting with a person.
